Japanese is a perfect binding technique in which all the pages are bound with the open edge into the spine,
leaving the foredge of the book closed with a fold. Pages 1 and 4 run through, separated by a fold.
Pages 2 and 3 are then not visible. Namely they fall inside pages 1 and 4.
In this technique of double pages the fold could be perforated, if desired.
This is a fun way to do something creative with your design.
Japanese is possible on any perfect binding technique.
The front edge will not be cut after binding.
A special folding method, developed by Brepols, the fluctuation of the folds in the front will be minimal.
Spine width range of 2.5-60 mm. (depending on the number of pages/ paper choice).
