It is with great pride that we can announce that Brepols NV will continue the bindery Hexspoor activities. Three weeks after the bankruptcy of Hexspoor, Brepols NV, the curator and the staff of Hexspoor came to an agreement. Besides a large part of the machinery, Brepols also took some of the staff which means production from 22 February 2018 of new orders, could be done.
Given the almost identical DNA from both Hexspoor as Brepols, particularly a high quality, perfect service and the status of independent binder, an amalgamation was obvious.

Through this acquisition, we can, as a loyal supplier, offer the full range of bindingmethods: sewn and perfect bound hard cover and soft covers, bound with hotmelt, coldglue or PUR, but also the special binding techniques such as; Otabind®, Otastar®, Swiss and Japanese binding. We are therefore convinced that pooling the knowledge and resources of both companies, you as a customer will be ensured optimal binding services.

Initially Patrick Bakermans will continue to lead operations in Boxtel, the internal commercial contacts go through Kor van Tatenhove. The commercial interests in Turnhout remain the same as before, notably Els Verwaest, Marianne Lippens, Luc Geysels and Willem Vangeel.
